Calling all Girls..!

The truth: we all have clothes that we wondered why we bought and now have barely warn (some still have the tags on). Sound familiar...?

WE HAVE THE ANSWER

We are having an informal clothes auction where you can donate these clothes and buy some new ones at extraordinarily reduced prices.

All proceeds go to Watoto Childrens Ministry. We are raising money to build a home for orphaned children in Uganda. We aim to raise £8000 before April 2007.

WHAT TO BRING: Clothes, shoes, accessories, jewellery, shoes, hand bags. (Be ruthless girls). Or just bring yourself
(Spare coat hangers).

HOW TO PAY: Cheque, cash, and computers avail for online giving via our official charity "Just Giving" website.

WHEN: Saturday 7th October

TIME: 11:00 am

We survived the walk!

We survived the 15mile walk!
Last saturday about 15people took part in our sponsored walk from Putney to Greenwich along the Thames.. approximately 15miles!
The weather was fantastic, the company was great, and the best thing was that we all made it by sundown!
We all saw some amazing parts of London that I never knew existed, and also realised just how far away Greenwich actually is! :-)
With all the walkers combined we will have hopefully raised over £900! Our biggest event so far!

We are contemplating doing it again to see if we can raise it a second time.. maybe in a few months when we have recovered some what!

According to our Just Giving website, we are currently sitting on £2386.30! Thats 29% of target!! I am sooooo excited!!

Our sponsor walk is next weekend - 16Sep... I cant wait to see how much we've got after that!
